Introducing PC Employee Care

Today, Thursday 22nd October 2020, Parental Choice is delighted to unveil its newest service which is  designed to support employee wellbeing in SMEs:

PC Employee Care is the newest service in the Parental Choice family and is their first designed to support all employees through their whole life’s journey.

This programme is dedicated to SMEs across the UK, of which there are nearly six million.  Collectively they are the largest employer, with 16.6 million people employed in businesses with up to 250 employees.

An overview:

  • 24% of employees have experienced job-related stress or anxiety.
  • Only 15% feel their organisation’s culture supported mental health.
  • 46% admitted to working when they felt unwell.
  • 25% of Britons expected to experience some type of mental/behavioural health issue in any given year (Mercer March Benefits Research).
  • 55% of all employees are at risk of a health problem, whether mental or physical.

Four fifths of SME employers do not have a health and wellbeing strategy, therefore risking reduced productivity and therefore less than optimum profitability due to poor employee wellbeing.

We have created PC Employee Care precisely to look after the wellbeing of employees within an SME.
