The brainchild of former City lawyer, Sarah-Jane Butler, the business was created in 2011 following Sarah-Jane’s own struggle to juggle when her first daughter was born.
Following retraining as an employment lawyer she is passionate that care responsibilities should not hamper anyone’s ability to have a career.
Recognised in 2019 as a We are the City Rising Star Champion for the work Parental Choice is doing to help the female talent pipeline, she truly believes that businesses should all be recognising their employees who are working parents. Helping outside the office leaves room for working parents to be the best they can be in the office.
Parental Choice is an international business with our Family Global Mobility services covering EMEA and APAC regions. Our work overseas includes helping banks relocate their staff within Europe, helping schools orientate their new teachers and running our Wellbeing Programmes remotely across several continents.
Parental Choice Payroll is the final service in our portfolio and is a real help to working parents. We look after the payroll, pension and legal obligations of parents who are employing staff in their family. Predominantly nannies, we also handle payroll for housekeepers, PA and other domestic staff.
The Parental Choice head office is near Hampton Court in Surrey, where our UK and EMEA businesses are based. Our APAC business is run from our Hong Kong office.
